Pre-orders available for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne!

Posted: 05 Dec 2019 04:04 PM PST

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is now available for pre-order! The game releases worldwide on January 9, 2020! (Due to time zone differences, the game does not release until January 10 in certain regions.)

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Pre-order Details
- Pre-order to get the exclusive Yukumo layered armor set! Layered armor has no armor defense or skills itself, but lets you take on a variety of different looks. This set will give you the appearance of the "Yukumo" armor set, which is the iconic look from Yukumo Village, the mountainous hot springs village from previous games!

- The Master Edition, which includes the base game and the expansion in one set, will also be available starting January 9, 2020. See the official website for more details! The Master Edition also includes the Yukumo layered armor set as a pre-order bonus.

[Notice]
Several additions and changes have been made to the notes for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update version 10.12.00. (To see the rest of the update notes, see the official website: https://www.monsterhunter.com/update/mhw-steam/us/)

Changes:
- The default cursor position for the "Take All" option in quest rewards has been changed to be the same as in the console version.

Additions:
- Support has been added for "FidelityFX CAS + Upscaling", which allows for higher resolution for low performance costs. This feature is not limited to specific graphics cards or resolution settings, but cannot be used in conjunction with NVIDIA DLSS.

- The Highest setting for Graphic Settings originally set Dynamic Range to 64-Bit, but because the performance costs of 64-Bit settings may limit these effects even on HDR displays, the default setting has been changed to 32-Bit.

Some changes up to console update version 12.01 have been applied in advance for the Steam version.
- When starting a new game, the default armor during character creation has been changed from the "Defender α" armor set to the "Guardian α+" armor set. (The Defender α armor set can still be purchased from the Armory from the beginning of the game. The Defender α and Guardian α+ armor sets have the exact same attributes and skills, and are different only in color.)

- Several quality-of-life improvements have been made for the Guiding Lands. See the official website for more details about these changes:
https://www.monsterhunter.com/update/mhw-steam/us/

- The invasion rate for Savage Deviljho has been adjusted.

- Other minor fixes and balance changes have been applied in advance from future patches.

[Notice]
The Holiday Joy Fest seasonal event planned for December 2019 for the console versions will be made available in the Steam version after mid-February 2020.
